To get to or boat heading for Colombia, we had to travel back to Panama City for another couple days. So we decided to take a bike ride along the city’s coastal bike path. It was extremely hot, but the ride was with it.

This was a pretty cool site to see! It’s about 7 minutes long, so use the scrub bar to jump forward if you want.

Streets of Casco Viejo and Panama City
1st day in Panama City, Panama
November 21, 2013
Our first day in Panama City! After a four hour nap we spent the day touring the neighborhood. Casco Viejo (where these pictures were taken) was the main part of the city until the canal was constructed in 1905. Surrounded by the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other, this area now consists of old deteriorated buildings, mixed with renovated and newly constructed ones which gives a unique look at the “Viejo” city history. The amazing skyline views from here make the one hour drive from the airport well worth it! Loving Panama!
